Personal protective equipment (or known as PPE) are types of equipment worn on job sites designed to minimize exposure to hazards and risk that can cause serious workplace injuries and illness. Types of injuries that can occur from not wearing proper PPE include: chemical, physical, radiological, electrical, mechanical and other hazards.
