Emergencies and disasters can affect any workplace at any time and bring injuries, illness and even death regardless of work environments. Sometimes, workplaces will have to respond to an emergency when they least expect it thus having an emergency plan in place before the incident is essential to ensure everyone’s safety. Under OSHA’s regulation 29 CFR 1910.38(a) and 29 CFR 1926.35, employers must have a written emergency action plan (EAP).1

These micro-learning clips are designed to help learners understand the importance of emergency planning, workplace emergency preparedness guide, how to protect the workplace against terrorism, the process of emergency action drills, emergency evacuation procedures in the workplace.
